Needs work This book has a lot of information, but it also has a lot of non-information and is in serious need of editing.An entire chapter on AMS ads can be cut, because it talks about how she paid someone else to run a failed campaign - with NO information on how to set up ads, determine keywords, nothing useful at all.Another chapter needs to be reformatted to even be legible. You can't format with tab stops on ebooks.Yet another chapter, on how to write clean romance, isn't even relevant to rapid releasing - I skipped over it so I can't comment on the quality of that chapter.Individual paragraphs are poorly written, content is repetitive, and individual sentences use the same word multiple times. For example, "next I'm going to learn ... next".As a case study for one beginner's experience, this is great. It would be fantastic blog post or newsletter story. As a nonfiction book, the author lacks the necessary experience in writing, proofreading, and publishing to inspire confidence in the viability of rapid release.Excellent Book on Rapid Release This book was a quick read with a load of information on the Rapid Release method.It provided the information that anyone who wants to try this method needs and it included writers who are killing it.Pretty Much Everything You Need to Know to Successfully Self-Publish a Book This book is an awesome quick read! I only expected info on rapid release publishing strategies, but was pleasantly surprised to find that this book was basically a crash course on publishing as a whole. The focus on rapid strategy was very well explained in a step-by-step format.You could purchase this book without a clue as to how to publish and launch a book, and walk away with a firm grasp on what it will take to get your book into readers' hands. The author's writing style is conversational and super easy to follow. She takes the time to explain "author lingo" as she goes and includes very transparent information.I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in self-publishing for the first time, or to veteran publishers interested in learning more about the merits of the rapid release strategy.
